The money for armor was always there. It was spent on rebuilding Iraq. That's Bush's responsibiilty. The soldiers equipment needs ought to have been met first, then squander millions on building schools, hospitals, and buying gasoline for the Iraqi people.

The politicians in Washington (on both sides) have totally different priorities than the Amercian citizen. These are people that are members of an oligarchy that is indifferent to citizens and soldiers.
