I would love to take away the press reporting for 6 months. Allow them to hold press conferences, but only question and answer. Do not allow them to interpret what was said.
Then I want to force all of my liberal buddies (only have 1, but let's pretend I have a bunch of liberal friends) to only watch CSPAN and to watch the speeches of both sides. Basically, I want them to see everything first hand without ever hearing a bit of interpretation from a reporter.
At the end of the 6 month period I want to sit down and have a debate with them over what happened during the course of the 6 months. I guarantee that when I ask them to layout all of the stupid/crooked things Bush and the republicans have done, they will have nothing. There will be no reporter to tell them what he did.
An example of why this needs to happen: Bush strongly pushes for increased oil production, nuclear powerplants, and lower taxes ---> Bush ignores democrats push for fuel efficiency because their plans look good on paper but hold little real world value in the current economic environment --> Liberal reporters (95% of all reporters) report that President Bush is responsible for high gas prices, increased energy cost, and low oil production --> American person, who doesn't know their ass from their elbow, gets all worked up from the report and parrots the information as fact to the world. ---> = the reality of the situation. Bush did do stuff to fix what is going on. He has tried, and been blocked. The difference is his goals are realistic and can be accomplished with current technology, the liberals are all about what looks good on paper. Not what is real.
One more example of how easily the public can be dooped. The armor issue with humvees and lack of field agents in the middle east. BOTH the fault of liberals. Who cut military spending? Who wants to cut military spending? ......... Who thinks the CIA is the root of all EVIL? Who thinks/thought that electronic surveilance was all we needed and it wasn't worth risking field agents lives? See the pattern here? All liberal ideology.
The biggest contradiction is all of the liberal turds who say Bush is this crazy war lord with an appetite for military spending.... if this is the case, reason would dictate that those humvees would have had the most advanced armoring possible if it was up to Bush....but in all reality, if Bush had pushed for increased spending for all of this in the beginning, the press would have had a field day and as a result, so would the american people.
Liberal Philosophy: Take credit for the other side's accomplishments and blame them for your own mistakes.
