Going into pet ownership, you know that's the deal. They just don't live as long as people on average.

However, think about the life the dogs had. They could have spent their entire XX number of years with some abusive family, or in a dog pound and then euthanised, or in the streets.
Instead, they spent their lives living well with a family that cares for them.

The dogs aren't sitting around feeling depressed about their situation, no need for you to either. As long as they keep getting treats and snausages and stuff like that, they aren't counting the days.
