I was a little suprised about that. I know the 08 Viper is supposed to have a few chassis improvements and possibly non-runflat tires. If that is true, it might even things up a little bit. Vipers seem really sensitive to alignment and a lot of times where they are said to be hard to drive at the limit, I wonder if the alignment was spot on. That Viper could have been some beat to hell press vehicle with bad alignment for all we know.
