I know nothing of high end audio, and little of patent law (one course in law school). But I know quite a bit about federal litigation and I can tell you this response will make a company think long and hard about proceeding. I've got a feeling discovery would be a bitch against this guy and he would fucking bury them in motions.
In short, he writes one hell of a good "don't fuck with me" letter.
