It's more involved than you think, and unless you've done a few hundred diff jobs, shush.

Good point. Though total cost can depend on what shops are near you. I paid $175 for a new Dana 3.55 gear set for my '01 ACR last Summer, and $125 for the same place to install it after I dropped off the diff at their shop later.
Same Metro Detroit shop that sets up the diffs in Shelby Mustangs for Ford btw..
