What I find the most humerous in all of this is that the viper is incapable of using the 500hp it came with in almost all normal street conditions, I would love to see how one of these cars actually is able to be used ON THE STREET. All of these would be wrecked in the first day if you tried to tap into gears 1-3 with any type of agression.

It's more fun driving true performance cars to the limit that are capable of it, than just throwing loads of un-usable power into an already un-stable set up. I don't know about you but I have never driven my viper on an air strip with sticky tires...and don't plan on doing so. I also know that even though my viper is faster on paper - there are many cars that have a MUCH easier time putting the power down that can beat me in most real world driving conditions. The new Nissan GTR will smoke any viper in real world driving conditions. I would even say the new AMG C63 could beat a viper in a red light drag for 95% of the drivers out there.

All the power to JH for building such a beast.....but the very premise of a viper with this much power when it can't really use the power it has....seems all very silly

You have obviously never driven a well done TT Viper. Their power is more than usable on the street.
