As long as the temp and the blacktop is warm, 1st puts you in the seat pretty good! In the colder temps you need to be extra careful in 1st and 2nd. I see you live down south, so colder weather won't affect you as much as me.
I've only been to the track once since I got the 3.55's and pulled a 1.83 60' vs. 1.9x with the stock gears. I realize others can pull 1.8 60's with stock gears. This is just my experience so far.
I figure the 3.55's to be good for 2/10's +/- in the 1/4 mile.
IMO, Great Mod if you DON'T plan on forced induction, as traction is still somewhat decent w/ stock(ish) power levels.
